I’ve always loved crafting and have found particular fulfillment in paper crafts. There’s something that makes me feel good when I create a card I love. It’s also very satisfying to look at something, decide you really don’t like it, and throw it in the trash – after all, it’s just paper! I find a lot of pleasure in sending a card and hearing that it make someone a little happier…and I find special pleasure in helping others realize that they too can be creative.
And yes, I DO live on Maui, but I stamp anywhere.
NEW TO PAPER CRAFTS?
I am comfortable both in person and using Zoom, and I would love to help you create an event for a few friends or a crowd! I can design simple projects for beginners, and then show you how to step them up as you put a few skills into your craft box. It all starts with reaching out and asking!

Hi There,
Love your site!! All of your cards provide inspiration.
Awhile back, I requested the template for the snowglobe that was a demonstrator perk. Apparently, I neglected to provide my e-mail address (another senior moment !)
So, can we try again, please?!

Thanks so much.

I love your custom background. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this. Someone sent me a link to you blog from my post in the blog forum on SCS. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473433&goto=newpost
I get as far as adding my image and can’t figure out how to add the html code.
Can you please help me?

Hi Anne-
I just joined stampin’ up on 1/5/10 and I’ve been looking for ideas for my first workshop. I really like your chapstick holder. Do you have the dimensions of the base card and instructions on how to cut the section that holds the chapstick?
thanks! kylie

Hope it’s not too late, but I was poking around for ideas for my Christmas cards this year and saw the snow globe template. Are you still able to send copies????

Hello Anne…
I’ve been following the RemARKable Holiday blog and just love your sight (I love Maui also, we have 2 timeshares there) 🙂
I just LOVE the little chapstick holders that you made (January 2010 post). Can you tell me where I could find the template/measurements for that little project. I just ordered “FALL” chapsticks from Avon (check them out…they were only 69 cents, but I think that they are .99 now, still a deal! I saw that they had chapsticks decorated for halloween also, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they have some for Christmas too!)..
I appreciate any feedback on the chapstick holder…and thank you for sharing your wonderful projects 🙂

I hate to admit it, but I kinda free-handed the chapstick holder. I was running late and just wanted a little something for my club members and I winged it. Since I’ve given them all away, I don’t have the original to measure, but they are VERY simple. Here’s a tutorial from Stampin’ Addicts – scroll down in the challenge post for the “How-to” : http://www.stampinaddicts.com/forums/3d-challenges/2791-3d025-9-07-09-chapstick-holder.html

Greetings Matasci Family (Anne, Ray, Carol, Sara, and Matt),
Thanks for the Christmas card, letter and picture of the family. It is great to read everyone is doing well. We will be in Mexico, Cancun this summer 2011 at the wedding, so we will miss our vacation in Maui next summer. The sunsets are amazing, and we miss being there having left only months ago. We hope you all have a very blessed 2011. Lovely picture of the family.
Love to all of you,

What size SU oval did you use on the owl multipication? TY

Hi Jacalyn,
I used the scallop oval for the wings and the 3/4 inch circle for the “feathers” on the front of the owl. Does that answer your question?

Hi Barb,
If you start with my home page (the place you land when you first go to the blog) you’ll see a small box that says “Sign me up!”. It’s at the top of the white space next to the current blog post title. That should do it, but please let me know if it doesn’t work.
Thanks for asking – I look forward to hearing what you think!
Aloha,

Hi Anne,
Just saw that you are in Maui. While I am on the mainland my hubby and I vacation in Maui once a year. We stay in West Maui at the Napili Kai Beach Resort. Could you please keep me in mind when you send out your class schedules. If I am on Maui, I would drive to South Maui for a class. When we come it is usually for a minimum of 17 days. Hope pur next trip will be in Feb. Thanks so much!
