I’ve been exploring different ways to color the Tropical Hideaway large format stamp. I have to confess: this is not my favorite. I’m happy with the card layout, but the watercolor technique I used made the images blur. That’s how you learn!

I stamped the Tropical Hideway stamp on a Basic White panel using Soft Succulent Ink. I used more Soft Succulent Ink with my Water Painters to add color to the leaves. It was a fun experiment, but it’s not one I expect to repeat. The water caused the outlines to blur too much for my taste.
I enjoyed the process, and the total effect is soft and a little romantic. I added that White Crinkle Ribbon to soften it even more (oh my goodness, I love that ribbon!).
