If you’ve followed me for very long, you’ll know I love my birdies. These two are quite the Winterly pair: they look as though they’re having a little spat. But they’re doing a good job of looking good while they do!

I used the grid from Spotlight on Nature to add some texture behind the pair. Texture is one of my favorite simple add-ons. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it doesn’t add any volume to the card. I took my coloring cues from that gorgeous Winter Meadow DSP, and I slipped in the Summer Splash ribbon even though it’s nit technically in the paper. I think it works!
