The Hearts and Stars Decorative Mask is an under-appreciated accessory – it takes just moments to sponge details exactly where you want them – in this case a starry sky behind a big full moon and a sleigh full of toys and Saint Nicholas too!

I created the windows by stamping the house on Whisper White card stock and cutting them out – they’re rectangles, it’s easy – and adhering them to the house with a smidge of Tombo. And yes, smidge is a real measurement.

Saw this card and loved it so much I made my own copy:

I made very few changes to the original as Michelle did a beautiful job. One of the things I did change was to add a tiny bit of So Saffron in the lights and at the windows. I like the feeling of being at home that it creates.

When you live on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, separations happen. Sometimes they’re short term, sometimes they’re for a long time. Sometimes I really don’t like them. Most of the time, I put on my big girl pants and deal with it.
