SEASIDE WISHES for FRIENDS

Do you keep every stamp set and bundle, or do you let go of older stamp sets? As a demonstrator, I try to work with only current products, but there are a few that go into my “forevah” box. I’ll always have Seaside Wishes.

  • Stamps: Seaside Wishes, Heartfelt Hexagon (retired)
  • Color Palette: Basic White, Basic Beige, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Pool Party
  • Accessories: Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Seaside Wishes dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder, Heartfelt Hexagon punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, a very old set of card bases with matching envelopes

I made these a month or so ago, and the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set has retired. The punch is still available, and I love this shape. It’s different enough to be interesting without being weird. It makes great interlocking designs, too. You can see one HERE.

This set of printed card bases and envelopes has been languishing in my supply cabinet for a very long time. There are current options in the Online Store.

Seaside Wishes comes in a money saving bundle and includes a Hybrid Embossing Folder. Shop for it in the Online Store.

RUSTIC SEASIDE WISHES

This card is a little bit outside the box for me – I don’t usually use this much bold color. The neutral tones of the sand dollars and other sea elements made me bold! And I do love Seaside Wishes 💕

  • Stamps: Seaside Wishes
  • Color Palette: Basic White, Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Basic Beige, Pebble Path
  • Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Seaside Wishes dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder, Country Woods DSP, Adhesive Back Dapple Dots, Blending Brush, Pebble Path Jute Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals, wooden skewer

I dusted the sand dollars with a tiny bit of Crumb Cake, and tucked a bit of unraveled Pebbled Path Jute Trim behind the pieces. I curled the ends of the DSP and Coastal Cabana card stock with a bamboo skewer – it’s one of my favorite crafting secret weapons. I tore the edges of the Coastal Cabana panel and roughed the DSP with my trusty paper snips, so this entire card has a much more rustic feel.

I didn’t add a sentiment – do you think I should? I can’t decide if I should put something on the front or just stamp it inside.

Are you more rustic or more crisp? It was fun to explore this style, but I’m definitely more of a crisp and clean stamper. Doesn’t matter, whatever you need, you’ll find it in the Online Store.
