Welcome to my LAST April Last Dance/Last Chance project. It’s been a lot of fun to give one more opportunity to shine to these retiring stamps and other products. I’d love to know which has been your favorite. But not before you see what I have done with Sending Love!
Stamps: Sending Love
Color Palette: Basic White, Wild Wheat, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy
Accessories: Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Fern 3D 3Embossing Folder, Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Circle Punches in 2 3/8 and 2″ (and a couple of retired circle punches), Calming Creek Cards & Envelopes, 23-25 In Color DSP, Brights DSP, Stampin’ Write Marker, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I pulled out all my punches – past and present – because it was a quick way to play with all the circle sizes. You could use our current punches, our circle dies (for example, Spotlight on Nature or Stylish Shapes), or you could do as I did and dig through your stash. Have fun with this!
Both the Timber 3D and Fern 3D Embossing Folders are Last Chance items, but Timber is nicely discounted. I’ve used them both quite often.
I’ve loved Sending Love, both the stamps and dies. It’s another set that will make it into my ever-growing permanent collection. And they’re both on sale – don’t miss them.

I’m always conflicted over the Last Chance List. There are things I am so sad to see leave our lineup. (There are a few I can legitimately wish Good Riddance!) But I know this makes room for new products, and who doesn’t love new?
There’s a lot here – I’ll share my thoughts about just a few.
Seaside Wishes. I hoped we would have it one more year. This goes into my FOREVAH stash, especially with that hybrid embossing folder. Don’t wait, this one is already on low inventory.
BOHO BLUE. 😱😱😱 I mean, it’s an In Color, I knew it, but still…
This is my absolute favorite light blue. It’s that perfect tone, perfect intensity, perfect color. I can only hope it will be back someday in a Color Refresh. But not this year.
The Greetings of the Season dies are perfect year round dies. The stamps are holiday stamps, but these dies are work-horses for every day. They even come with the puka (hole) for your Linen Thread. And they’re on sale.
If Stampin’ Up! ever retires Linen Thread I will tear out my hair.
What’s breaking your heart on the Last Chance list? Do you have it? Will you order it?

I’m crossing my fingers that the Perennial Postage dies stick around for a while. I especially like the look I get when I mask off the edges. They were perfect for this special Galentine:
I masked the edges of the large die cut to create that “postage stamp” look. I also masked off the mailbox and the circle in the middle of the “postmark”. I’ll tell you a secret: masking the mailbox was to make it easier. 😉 I used the Blending Brushes to create the backgrounds, and let me tell you, they are SO forgiving!
The sentiments in Sending Love are perfect. I like to use this one on the back of the envelope, too.
Hope your Valentines’ Day is sweet!

Leaf Collection is the most versatile large format stamp we’ve had in a long time. Today’s card uses it traditionally: as a background image.
Stamps: Leaf Collection, Sending Love
Color Palette: Basic White, Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist
Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, So Swirly Embossing Folder, 2 3/8” Circle Punch, 1 3/4” Circle Punch, Linen Thread, Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs, Stampin’ Dimensionals
This layout is not my usual style, but I’m challenging myself to mix things up. I added texture with the embossing folder to break up all the solid color elements.
The card base could easily have been one of the component colors, but I favor white card bases. They’re clean, they don’t distract from the elements of the design, and I don’t need to add another inside panel for the message.
Take a minute to check your large format stamps – if you don’t have something like Leaf Collection you’ll find it in the Online Store. And don’t miss Free Shipping with a qualified order on May 21!

It’s May Day! And I’m thinking about SUMMER FRUIT. The Strawberry in the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set has been calling my name for days, and I’ve given it an entire month on my craft desk:
Color Palette: Basic White, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly, Memento Black
Accessories: Stampin’ Blends, Masking Paper
The strawberry isn’t the focal point of the Ice Cream Swirl set, but I noticed it when I was editing my stamps to be current with the new 24-25 Annual Catalog. I’m a big fan of fruit in season, and we get beautiful strawberries from Upcountry Maui this time of year.
I masked the strawberries as I stamped them – I always stamp the middle first! After I colored them with my Blends, I thought it needed a little something more. I tried a bunch of options, but a little bird made me happiest, and you KNOW that’s how I make my decisions.
Thanks so much for visiting our little calendar mini hop! Please stop by to see what Cheryl and Crystal have created for May. We love to make these little calendars and share them with you.

Sending Love is a stamp set that really speaks to what we card-makers do: it’s all about that message that you write and mail to brighten someone’s mailbox. I don’t know about you, but most of my mail is from realtors! It seems most everything else is electronic, so when there’s an envelope with a hand-written address, I get pretty excited.
Stamps: Sending Love
Color Palette: Basic White, Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Real Red, Memento Black, Basic Black
Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Sending Love dies, Stampin’ Blends, Sunny Day DSP (SAB 24), Stampin’ Dimensionals
This card was inspired by Elizabeth Price, one of our amazing Stampin’ Up! Artisans. I made a few changes, mostly to simplify the project for a group crafting event.
When I stamped the mailbox with Memento Black, I avoided the grassy bottom. I used a dauber to add a bit of Granny Apple Green to the grass, because who wants dead grass at the bottom of their mailbox?
I love the cheeriness of this color combination. I had knee surgery in early March, and as I progress through rehab (exercises! exercises! exercises!) I’m getting to the point that I can actually do something besides my exercises! These bright colors lift my spirits and I hope they lift yours as well.
The Sending Love Bundle is retiring on April 30. The stamps and dies will still be available, but will no longer be offered at a bundled discount. If you love it, get it now and save!

I based this card on Kelly’s convention swap, and I’m sorry to say I don’t have a photo of her card to share with you. We helped her put together the last few of them sitting at a table at convention, but we were too busy to take photos at that point – people were literally walking up and asking to swap as we were working on them, and each card was snapped up as soon as it was finished.
My beautiful middle daughter is home this week, and we are having a lovely time doing not-so-much. Last night was sunset picnic basket at the beach night with Mom and Dad (while brother went to a meeting), followed with Ono Gelato (brother’s meeting was done and he was very happy to meet us there). Today I think we’re going to see if we can’t get pedicures.
I’m thrilled that both of my daughters are confident and successful, but not so thrilled that they live a bazillion miles from me. Fortunately, Mom and Dad have chosen a pretty nice place to live, so it’s not too hard to persuade them to come and visit.
