Sympathy cards are challenging, but making one is at least part of how I express my feelings when someone has experienced loss. It’s never easy, but for me, the act of creating a card helps me to work through some of my feelings.
- Stamps: Remarkable You, Burlap, retired sentiment
- Color Palette: Whisper White, Dapper Denim, Basic Black, Smoky Slate
- Accessories: Silver Metallic Thread, Aqua Painter
The metallic thread is very fine, and doesn’t create issues with the USPS as it won’t add any bulk to a card. I use a little adhesive on the card where I want it to go, and wind it through the adhesive. It comes out differently every single time. I’ve had to learn to adapt to that!
