FESTIVE CHEER WITH CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Posted on by

Christmas ornaments are right up there with Santa and the Tree, don’t you agree? I have a substantial collection that varies from beautiful antique glass ornaments from my grandmothers to a plastic Big Bird that one of my girls received as a gift. And yes, Big Bird still goes on the tree, but he has to go towards the bottom as he’s rather, well, BIG.

  • Stamps: Festive Cheer, Greenery Lane
  • Color Palette: Basic White, Peaceful Pine, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Golden Glow, Lemon Lolly, Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party
  • Accessories: 26-28 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP, retired gems, 3/8″ Textured Ribbon

The ornaments in Festive Cheer are the type my grandmothers had. Ink doesn’t generate the same translucence that glass exhibits, but these shapes are spot on. I had a hard time choosing colors, so of course I didn’t: I just kept on stamping!

Do you have a favorite? And do you have a curated, themed Christmas tree or a chaotic culture clash as I do? They’re both absolutely perfect, because it’s Christmas.
