  • DIY Easel Calendar Kit is $9.00
  • DIY Calendar refill is $6.00

Shipping is by USPS and will be sent First Class or Priority Mail.  I ship the best possible method at the best possible price and will calculate based on what you order.  Typically, a single Calendar refill can be sent in a First Class envelope with postage of $.91.  Easel Calendar Kits are shipped Priority Mail Small Flat Rate with postage of $7.15.  I can ship multiple kits in one box.

Many crafters have asked for the template over the years. I do not sell the template. I didn’t create it and I don’t own it, and the crafter who does own it does not want to sell it as a template.

To order, leave a comment or email me directly at AnneMatasci (at) gmail (dot) com.  I’ll need your order, your delivery address and your email address. I will send an invoice via Square, and you can choose your payment method.  Your calendars will not ship until the fourth week of September. At this time, I do not ship outside of the United States.

Happy crafting!

Sweet Maui Pines

Ah, I was a happy Maui Stamper when I saw the Pop of Paradise stamp set would carry forward into this year!

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Pop of Pink

  • Stamps: Pop of Paradise
  • Color Palette: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White
  • Accessories: Paper Snips, Stampin’ Write markers, Glue Dots

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Pop of Pink

I fussy cut that one pine with my paper snips and attached it to the calendar with a couple of Glue Dots. They give a tiny bit of lift without too much height – more visual height that actual height.

2018 DIY Calendars and Easel Calendars are ready to ship! I’ll post the details later today.

Crystal and Cheryl have more great DIY calendar inspiration for you today – head over and see!

August flowers on the line

This is the month when things start to get really HOT on Maui. I’m a sunshine and warm weather girl, but even I wilt a bit with our late summer heat. These sweet posies, however, will stay fresh all month long:

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Swirly Bird

  • Stamps: Swirly Bird
  • Color Palette:  Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizazz, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
  • Accessories: Big Shot, Swirly Scribbles Framelits

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Swirly Bird

The color on the flowers isn’t even sponged – I inked them up with the Peekaboo Peach and then tapped the edges into the Tangerine Tango pad. It’s almost too easy. I also toyed with the idea of putting at least one of the blooms on a dimensional, but with these calendars I prefer as flat a profile as possible, so it was Tombo (the Wonder Adhesive) to the rescue.

Cheryl and Crystal have created fabulous August designs – stop by and see what they’ve done!

July’s all wrapped up

I’m all about the Red, White, and Blue, but for the past few years I’ve looked for motifs other than the Stars and Stripes.  There’s nothing wrong with them, but I like a little creative challenge. This month, I’m using the bow retired from the Circle of Spring for my calendar.

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Circle of Spring

  • Stamps: Circle of Spring (retired)
  • Color Palette:  (Real) Red, (Whisper) White, and (Night of Navy) Blue!
  • Accessories:  Wondrous Wreath Framelits

Happy Wanderer

Warning: once we get to June, my calendar images may include retired stamps. I create the calendars in January. It is what it is.

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar You're Sublime

This little gem comes from the retired So Sublime stamp set.  It’s colored with an Aquapainter and a few markers and it’s as simple as can be.

I’m not a camper, but how could you resist an adventure in such a cute little roll-along?

Stop by and see what Cheryl and Crystal have designed for June!

The Eastern Palace Suite

I’ve had this early-release product for some time, but if I’m absolutely honest, it kind of intimidated me. The stamps coordinate perfectly with the framelits, and there are a million and one ways to use the framelits – and that was what had me holding my breath. Fortunately, I’ve survived that crisis and am happy to share the results with you today:

Maui Stamper Eastern Beauty Premier Bundle

  • Stamps:  Eastern Beauty
  • Color Palette:  Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Tranquil Tide
  • Accessories:  Big Shot, Softly Falling TIEF, Eatern Medallions Thinlits, Precision Base Plate, Copper Thread, Eastern Palace Specialty DSP, 1 1/4″ circle punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I kept this card intentionally simple, partly because it was for a swap, and partly to keep myself from freaking out.  I wasn’t sure if the color combination would work, but I LOVE IT!  I lean towards monochromatic color combinations and this made me very happy.

Maui Stamper Eastern Beauty Premier Bundle

I used two separate thinlits on the Very Vanilla piece, and was thrilled to discover that they lined up perfectly together so that I could get this look with just one pass of the Big Shot. (Remember: this was for a swap so I needed a bunch!)

The Very Best Part about this card is something you wouldn’t know if I didn’t tell you (GUESS WHAT? I’M GONNA TELL YOU!!)  If you purchase the Premier Bundle, not only do you get the stamps and thinlits and DSP and embellishments and ink and paper (new In Colors too!), but you get our brand new, not-yet-released-but-in-the-new-catalog THICK VERY VANILLA CARD STOCK!!!!

I know.  I’m sorry.  I keep shouting.  But as you can tell, I’m just a teeny tiny bit excited.

There are two bundles featuring the Eastern Palace Suite.  Both include free gifts!! One is a Basic Bundle, and the other is the Premier Bundle. Either one will keep you happily crafting for days, but you’ll get that Very Vanilla card stock as a free gift in the Premier Bundle. And I promise it will make you very, very happy.

An elephant never forgets

The whimsical images from the 2016-2017 Host set Love You Lots have just the right size and energy for my little calendar pages. I prefer a clean and simple design for the months, and this little Ellie and her Mousie friend need nothing more than a little color.

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Love You Lots

  • Color Palette:  Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo
  • Accessories:  Aquapainter

Got my ducks in a row

Every now and then I challenge myself to give an under-appreciated stamp set a little love. Barnyard Babies is filled with petite, line drawn images of farm animals, and it was an early must-have from last year’s annual catalog.  I’ve used it for some really fun cards (as well as August 2016), but it’s been collecting a big of dust as of late.

A stamp, a sticky-note mask, and a marker or two – and April is ready!  The fact that duck beaks and feet could be colored in Daffodil Delight was a bonus. What color speaks April more eloquently than daffodil yellow?

A Waterlily for March

These little desktop calendars are so satisfying to create. Because they’re small, I’m challenged to find images that will physically fit in the space while still reflecting the time of year.

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Remarkable You

For March, I chose the water lily from Remarkable You.  It’s a stylized shape that’s perfect for coloring, and I really love to color.  I added a few splatters using the Wink of Stella Gold pen.  Honestly, it’s not my favorite product – I find the gold color too strong and brassy for painting or highlighting – but it does a fantastic job of splattering.  There’s a lesson in there!

Maui Stamper DIY Easel Calendar Remarkable You

I created this calendar page long before our new Watercolor Pencils were released, but it would be really fun to use them on this project.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please head on over to see what Crystal and Cheryl have done for March.  And while you’re there, leave a little comment for them.  It’s a little thing that means a lot.

Lotsa Hedgie Love

Hedgehog, groundhog, whatever – it’s February, and if Puxatawny Phil sees his shadow tomorrow, legend has it there will be 6 more weeks of winter.  Here on Maui, that’s not much of a concern – maybe it just means the whales will stay a bit longer.

Maui Stamper DIY Calendar Lotsa Love

  • Stamps:  Love You Lots (Host)
  • Color Palette:  Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sweet Sugarplum
  • Accessories:  Aquapainter, Stampin’ Write markers,  DIY Easel Calendar kit

Love You Lots is my favorite host reward stamp set.  If you enjoy following my calendars, I’m warning now you that you’ll see this set again.  It won’t be available after May 31, 2017, so if you like it, you might want to take action now.  Just sayin’.

Maui Stamper DIY Calendar Love You Lots

Coloring the hedgies was pretty simple.  I used the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write marker to accent the stamped lines on their bodies and then used an Aquapainter to add a little wash to both their bodies and as a ground. That little touch of Sweet Sugarplum is my nod to Valentines Day on the 14th.
