Have you looked at the kits in the Holiday catalog? I mean really looked?
This is my favorite kit:
These tags (#139602, $21.00 for 30 tags) are CUTE and the stamp set (sold separately #140386 $21.00) is one of those Holiday Keepers that you will pull out year after year. I put them together myself:
Don’t you love my tree? I bought it a few years ago after Christmas on clearance and I use it for everything. You’ve got to act quickly when you see something great like this on Maui – it doesn’t last! There are birds 🙂
I mean, seriously – Holly, Happy Christmas (so Aussie!) and a BELL???
There are To: and From: stamps for the back of the tags – this kit has everything!
That big ol’ glitter snowflake is ah-mazing. And there are three in each kit – thirty tags, three each of 10 designs. It’s well worth the cost of the kit and the stamps to do at home.
However, Crystal and I will have stations to complete sets of tags and the shaker cards below at our annual Christmas Festivities on November 14th. Sign up early!! You can choose tags in sets of 10 (one each of 10 different designs) and/or cards in sets of 3 (one each of 3 different designs). You can even select multiples of each of our sets – for example, two sets of tag kits to make 20 tags. Don’t wait to sign up!
This is To You and Yours, a Shaker card kit that makes 18 cards. (#139647, $24.00) These are charming, eye-catching, and as fun to send as to receive.
This gorgeous wreath can be updated for Halloween, Autumn/Thanksgiving, and Christmas – and that’s just using the included pieces. Imagine Valentines decorations, Easter Eggs, Spring flowers – the list goes on. (Season to Season Wreath, #139645, $27.00)
We won’t be offering that as part of our Kit-Tastic-Christmas, but if you have a group of friends that wants to get together and assemble these, let me know and we will set a date!
Sign up for class projects by November 1st. Make all 10 Oh What Fun Tags (one of each design) for $12, or make 3 To You and Yours Shaker cards for $9 (again, one of each). Or make them both! Or make multiples of your favorite. It’s up to you.
Welcome to the October RemARKable Blog Tour. If you’re the type of person who does things sequentially, you’ve likely arrived from Tracy Langley’s blog. If you’re a Frank Sinatra, I-Did-It-My-Way kind of person, well, I’m happy you’re here!
*See the candy inside the package? It’s called Toe Bod Butts. The little white bit on the end is the Toe. The orange part in the middle is the Bod(y). And the yellow on the top is the Butt. And you eat it in that order.
Anyone who tells you they’re called Candy Corn has succumbed to the wonders of Marketing. Toe-Bod-Butts. That’s what they are.
I absolutely love the Happy Haunting Designer Series paper (DSP). This plaid is one of my favorites – if I lived where Fall was actually a season, I would have wool pants in this plaid. Love love love it…so much that I think I have used up all but a few tiny scraps of the ENTIRE PACKAGE OF DSP. Do you realize the enormity of that? I’m a DSP Hoarder. This is big, my friends, big.
You can put together a bunch of these watching a football game (ask me how I know) and have special treats for the kids in your son or daughter’s class, or your co-workers, or the football players for that matter. And you might even get to sneak in a few Toe Bod Butts for yourself. How fabulous would that be?

I’m delighted to announce that we’re crafting in AIR CONDITIONED SPLENDOR this year!
FOUR great projects to choose:
Four gorgeous one-of-a-kind cards – $12 (pictures to come)
Three Shaker Christmas cards from the to You and Yours Kit – $9
Four noteworthy Gift Card (or small gift) holders $12 (pictures to come)
Ten unique tags from the Oh What Fun kit $12
All projects are BYO adhesive – I’m happy to provide recommendations.
I do hope you’ll join us!
I bought some of our corrugated paper a couple of months ago and was finally inspired to make something:
I made a poinsettia with our new Festive Flower Builder punch – I made doubles of each set of petals to make it really full.
Some gold cord and a little Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper finished it off. Â (Gotta hold back on the actual airborne Dazzling Diamonds for now – I’ve been playing with fire lately!)
Do you like it? I confess, I’m pretty pleased!
Don’t tell Mr. Maui Stamper, but I got into the glitter again:
It was a simple matter. Just a little Two-Way Glue Pen on the bats and a sprinkle of black glitter (from last year’s holiday catalog – but you have some in your stash too, don’t you?)
The stamps are from the Project Life Holiday Cheer set from last year as well. But the whole idea of these calendars is to inspire you to create your own – and if you have a little bat somewhere you’ll be all set! (If you don’t, try Cheer All Year or Project Life Seasonal Snapshop 2015). Shop HERE.
Be sure and visit Cheryl and Crystal to see what they’ve done for October. And if you’d like a Ready-To-Stamp 2016 Calendar kit, I’m taking orders – they’ll ship November 1st.
You may choose your kit either with easel or without. Prices include shipping for one kit; please contact me for shipping costs of multiple kits.
You’ll get 12 calendar month pages printed on Whisper White plus a cover page announcing the year. You will also receive 13 card stock mats in colors that will coordinate well with the seasons of the year. Finally, I’ll include a clear box tor presenting your calendar as a gift when you choose the kit with the easel. Contact me at AnneMatasci (at) gmail (dot) com with your choice of kits, email address, and shipping address. I’ll send an invoice via SQUARE and will ship the calendars on November 1, 2015. Full details HERE.
Deals this week are super!
Lots of great goodies, but do yourself a favor – with the holidays looming in the (not so far) distance, pick up the Envelope Punch Board or the Gift Box Punch Board – or just break down and get them both. I can’t tell you how often those two have saved my sanity at the last minute. You’d be amazed at the impact you’ll get with a box created with Designer Series Paper! Shop HERE.
In other news…

For calendar inspiration, type “DIY Easel” into the Maui Stamper search box – I’ve been making and sharing these calendars since 2013, so there are lots of ideas!
When I’m looking for a quick pop for a project I turn to Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP). The vintage-inspired designs in Home For Christmas are a perfect example:
Yes – that dear little deer is trimmed from DSP! Worth the time to fussy cut, too, because I’m not sure I could ever color an image that well!
And if you are looking for one more “perfect touch” check out these buttons. (Confession: It was something of a pain in the you-know-what to thread this Thick Baker’s Twine through the button, but I didn’t have my new Gold Cord yet so I persevered.)
Another example – same song, second verse! The entire focal point on this card was a mini-make-and-take we did at Convention. The regular Baker’s Twine is much easier to thread through the button. And that wide Vanilla Ribbon is luxurious.
Christmas is still a ways off, but Christmas crafting is in full swing. Take a peek at the Holiday catalog for your inspiration!
If you’re on Maui, I’m placing an order this afternoon – Thursday – and would be happy to add to it for you. Happy shopping!
These are GREAT Deals this week! I’m a big fan of the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets – see HERE and HERE for the latest examples. And those Butterflies Thinlets are amazing! Consider the Precision Base Plate for die cuts that just drop out of the dies – no picking and poking!
