WALK IN THE FOREST TRIFOLD v2

I loved this layout so much I made quite a few versions. The fun thing about this one is that it uses the same Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper as the one I shared on November 15 but the color palette is quite different.

  • Stamps: Merriest Trees
  • Color Palette: Basic White, Pretty Peacock
  • Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Basics 3D Embossing Folder, Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper, Heat Tool, White Craft Ink, White Embossing Powder, Tear’n’Tape (aka TNT)

This is such a quick card because of the way the pieces are cut. Check the Walk in the Forest Triple Fold post for dimensions – you still have time to create a stack of these!

If I were making this again, I would heat emboss the sentiment on the front panel and skip the little snowflakes. Then I could use the panel on the back for a quick message. You could also use the back of the white base panel to write a longer message, or even adhere a printed message if that’s how you roll!

Using Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper for this card takes all the guess-work out of matching. DAINTY DELIGHT SWAP

Have you ever participated in a swap? It’s one of the best ways I know to get new ideas – and to make new friends. There were multiple opportunities to swap at Stampin’ Up! leadership last month, and I took two different projects to share. Here’s the simpler one.

4 cards with similar designs in different colors. They each feature a flower spray and the text "thank you"

  • Color Palette: Basic White, Basic Black, and either Poppy Parade, Azure Afternoon, Moody Mauve or Wild Wheat
  • Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Deckle Rectangle dies, Basics 3D Embossing Folder, Black and White Gingham Ribbon, Stampin’ Write Markers, Basic Rhinestone Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Is it possible to make a card without Stampin’ Dimensionals? Asking for a friend. 😆

I used Stampin’ Write markers to color the buds and the Rhinestone Gems. The embossing folder you see in the corner of this photos is my absolute fave from the Basics 3D folders. I don’t know what to call it, but I know I love it! Wild Wheat has also slipped onto my list of favorites. I wasn’t a fan when I first saw it, but it has definitely grown on me.

I don’t like production, so I made these in sets of 8 and changed up the pop of color. They’re pretty simple cards, so they didn’t take long and were easy to do in batches.

SEASIDE BAY THANKS

I made this card some time ago and it has languished at the bottom of…well, you don’t really need me to finish that sentence, do you? Fortunately, I’ve unearthed it and can share it with you today:

  • Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Seaside Bay Dies, Sentiment Silhouettes dies, Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Silver Metallic Mesh, Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Truth? I just started cutting a bunch of the Seaside Bay dies in different colors to play with. These elements are easy to layer, and it was fun to play with different colored shells. But my favorite part is the grid texture – I can imagine so many ways to use it.

The Silver Mesh was on the Clearance Rack recently – did you stock up? It’s a really versatile element because you can tie it like ribbon or tease it apart and use it as a texture.

I’ve had Seaside Bay for a while, but it’s taken me a while to ink it up. Does that happen to you? So many stamps…
