All the savvy Stampin’ Up! crafters know that bundles are one of our best ways to save. Butterfly Brilliance is a perfect bundle for getting a lot done in a single turn of the Stamp Cut and Emboss machine. The stamp is a large format, and the images fit into a single die yielding 6 butterflies with one crank! I tried the butterflies with both Stampin’ Blends and Watercolor Pencils, and was surprised how much I preferred the pencils.

The image is stamped in Sahara Sand. I found the pencils easier to use on this detailed image, and I liked having the ability to shade even in a very small space. By layering colors I could create transitions, and I had a great time choosing colors for this never-found-in-real life butterfly.

To keep the focus on the butterfly, I used a Basic White panel on a Basic White card base. The panel is popped up on dimensionals, as is the butterfly.
