Yesterday I put this gorgeous girl on the plane back to Boston:
I’m going to miss her happy voice, her fashion-companion advice, and her company. She’s back in Boston for a couple of days and then traveling on to Spain for a semester in Sevilla. We’re excited for her, of course, but it’s always hard for me to say good-bye. The chocolate-espresso cupcakes with peanut butter fluff frosting at 10pm I can live without!
I found myself in a creative frenzy late last night. It’s been a while since I could dedicate some time to stamping and I think my mojo was bottled up and ready to fly:
I’m in a rush this morning – I’ll edit the details later – but this uses the Filled with Love promotion, some rub-ons, and Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.
Be back soon with more!

I hope you enjoyed your time with your daughter! The mention of chocolate-espresso cupcakes with peanut butter fluff icing really sounds yummy; can you share the recipe? Thanks 🙂

Since my daughter is in Spain for the Spring Semester, it’s taken me a little while to connect with her about the cupcakes. If I’d thought about it, I could have guessed that these were from the Barefoot Contessa – Ina Garten. Check out her Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter icing and tell me what you think!

She is gorgeous…. but on the positive side, because of the internet, the world is a whole lot smaller and you’ll be able to talk to her and see her if she’s got a web cam….
Keep happy thought’s mom…..smiles…
And I loved the card… you are one very creative lady

Yes Cookie…she has a webcam and so do we. With my family living farther and farther abroad it’s a life-saver! The day they start to charge for Skype will be a very sad day for me.
