Sale-a-bration 2025 is just around the corner, and you’ll love all the options! Pick A Season is one of my favorites – I do love my plants 💕
Stamps: Pick a Season (SAB 25), Everyday Greetings
Color Palette: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Mellow Moss, Pecan Pie
Accessories: Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Bakers Twine 3 color pack, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
There’s a bit of fussy, cutting here, but *most* of it is easy. The sentiment takes a little patience, but shucks, it’s the new year, and patience is a virtue, right? RIGHT??
Sale-a-bration begins January 7th, so make your list ready and get ready to shop! Pick A Season is free with your qualifying purchase.

It’s a new year, and we have new things in store for you! I’m delighted to have two new crafters joining us, and I think you’ll love what they have to offer. Sharon Bukert of As the Ink Dries is a seasoned Stampin’ Up! demonstrator with an expert eye for design and color. Malia Webb of Crafted by Malia is a relatively new demonstrator who has grown up in the business. She’s the daughter of Cheryl Hamilton, who you know as Create with Cheryl, and it’s a thrill to have two generations of crafters on this blog hop! Crystal Kondo is taking a break for family reasons.
Welcome to 2025, welcome to the blog hop, and welcome to all of our new friends! I’ve chosen an almost-available new stamp set from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog for this month: introducing Terrific Toadstools:
Stamps: Terrific Toadstools (available January 7), SeasideWishes
Accessories: DIY Calendar template, Paper Snips, Brushed Brass Butterflies
I wanted the largest Toadstool to be Poppy Parade, but the inside needed to be a neutral. I had a minor stroke of genius, if I do say so myself: I stamped the image on the calendar in Crumb Cake (stamped off), then stamped it again in Poppy Parade on a scrap. I cut out the middle and adhered it with “green glue”.
The little dits are from Seaside Wishes -I thought there needed to be some magic in the air.
Click on the button to cruise through the hop – you’re in for a treat!

It’s the last day of December, and it’s my tradition to review my DIY Easel Calendar month-by-month. Are you ready? Let’s start with JANUARY:
I started the year with Stippled Roses for January 1, 2024. This particular image is really easy to color because of the shading marks in the stamps.
Painted Lavender was a carryover from last year, and the idea of fields of lavender seemed romantic for February. See the details in my post on February 1, 2024.
Tropical Leaf was a very early Online Exclusive, and it is tailor-made for a gardener-crafter like me. Check out the original post on March 1, 2024.
Planted Paradise was the perfect image to recreate the vibrant colors of the crotons in my garden, You can see them in this post for my April calendar
In May I stayed with a garden theme! I chose strawberries from Ice Cream Swirl. See the original post on May 1, 2024.
Time for a change – off to the ocean! Seaside Wishes has been a go-to stamp set all year. Read the details for this calendar page in June 1, 2024.
I featured the lemon with its blossoms from Citrus Blooms for July in honor of my own dwarf Meyer Lemon. You can see the details on July 1, 2024.
In August, I chose warm tones and the flowers and butterfly from Spotlight on Nature. You can see it all HERE.
Bee My Valentine is a year-round stamp set! Look at this adorable pollinators featured in my September 1, 2024 post.
These gorgeous blooms are from Regal Flora, which sadly moved to the Last Chance list at the beginning of December. You can see the original post on October 1, 2024.
Happy Hibiscus is a KEEPER! It’s an Online Exclusive that I hope will be around for a long time. Learn more in the November 1, 2024 post.
Every year it comes sooner! Whoosh, it’s December! It feels as though Stampin’ Up! really met us in the tropics in 2024. You can see this post from the beginning of this month HERE.
And 2024 is a wrap! I hope you’ve enjoyed this review. Comment on this post and share which month is your favorite. You can pick more than one – clearly, I can’t decide, so I won’t ask you to! I create my calendars month by month so that I can use the newest product. However, in review you’ll notice that many of these products are now retired. And tomorrow we begin a new month, a new year, and an exciting surprise with a new DIY Blog Tour! Make sure you pop in for a look.
If you feel inspired, you can create your own calendar for 2025. The 2025 DIY Template is just $5 and you may use it to make as many calendars as you like. It includes a page of covers, 12 monthly calendar blocks (4 to a page), and a set of cutting instructions. The blocks are designed to be cut to 3 1/2″ square. Please be patient if you order in the next couple of days – it’s a busy time.

Thanks for following the Maui Stamper and sharing in my crafting journey. Tomorrow starts a New Year, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. Aloha 🌺
The Z-fold card is one of my favorite designs: it’s a simple fold with a big impact. It’s essentially a regular fold with an extra score and a focal point, so it’s a great candidate for production. And it’s a great way to spotlight our beautiful Designer Series Papers!
Stamps: Greetings of the Season, Translucent Florals
Color Palette: Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Spotlight on Nature dies, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Season of Elegance DSP, Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots, Gold Ribbon (retired)
Don’t you love the shimmer of Gold Embossing? Every time I emboss something, especially a greeting, I ask myself why I don’t do it more often. It’s not hard and it adds so much!!
To create the Z-fold, cut your 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock into two panels measuring 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score one of them at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″ and fold in half, then fold the front panel back to the left. Add a focal point (I love using a die cut) and you are ready to go!
Shop for Season of Elegance DSP in the Online Store. You still have time to make a few more cards before the holidays! Running out of time?? Then send Happy New Year cards – that sentiment is in Greetings of the Season. We’ve got you covered!

Stampin’ Up! has updated the Last Chance category in the Online Store. Going forward, it will be regularly updated. Today it lists the products being phased out in order to bring us new, exciting creative options. Some things are discounted, so shop early for the best selection.
Do these designs look familiar? They’re a refresh of previous DSP offerings in updated colors. Shop this special release while it’s available in the Online Store under NEW ARRIVALS.

Happy Hibiscus is a “forevah” stamp set in my crafty toolbox – I may have to buy a second bundle just in case I ever lose a piece! (Not that I lose things, oh, no!)
Stamps: Happy Hibiscus, Layers of Beauty, Everyday Greetings, Greetings of the Season
Color Palette: Basic White, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Garden Green, Real Red
Accessories: Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, Happy Hibiscus dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder, Watercolor Pencils, White Bakers Twine, Transparent Adhesive Back Dots, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
To get the red center, I used watercolor pencils. They allowed me to shade and layer the color the way I saw it in my mind’s eye. I also used the pencils on the background image from Layers of Beauty to keep them soft and, well, you know, in the background.
Happy Hibiscus is an Online Exclusive– search for it by name in the Online store and add it to your crafty toolbox!!

Surfing Santa is PERFECT for my December DIY calendar! I’m gonna need his cool vibes to stay on task with all the projects I have in mind:
Stamps: Surfing Santa
Color Palette: Basic White, Memento Black, Summer Splash, Fresh Freesia, Naturals 500, Gray Granite, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party
Accessories: Paper Snips, Wink of Stella, Stampin’ Blends,, Stampin’ Dimensionals
This is post-holiday Santa, and he’s incognito in Summer Splash and Fresh Freesia. You can tell he’s been out in the sun with that deep tan, and his beard has the sparkle of salt spray. He’s a happy guy!
Take a moment to see what Cheryl and Crystal have created for December. Surfing Santa and so much more is in the Online Store. And be sure to check in with us in January as we have new crafters joining us in 2025!

This Jolly Old Elf was at the top of my mini catalog list, but I’m a traditionalist and don’t like to dive into Christmas too early. Crafting is different, though: there’s a lot to do before December 25th.
Stamps: Surfing Santa
Color Palette: Basic White, Real Red, Old Olive, Soft Seafoam, Pool Party, Gray Granite, Daffodil Delight, Naturals 500, Memento Black
Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Deckle Circles dies, Nests of Winter DSP, Stampin’ Blends, 24-26 In Color Shimmer Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals
The first time I stamped and colored this image, I fussy cut it. Normally that makes me really happy, but somehow Santa got lost without a spotlight. I did cut the tops of the waves, but it barely qualifies as fussy cutting. I stamped them 3 times across on the Nests of Winter DSP – I love the result when you stamp tone-on-tone on top of DSP!
This Santa will have a permanent place in my stamp archive – does he belong in yours? Shop the Online Store for all the supplies for this card.

Have you seen Happy Hibiscus? It’s a brand new Online Exclusive, currently available only to demonstrators – until November 5th. I saw the name and knew it would be a keeper!
Stamps: Happy Hibiscus (Online Exclusive available November 5, 2024)
Color Palette: Basic White, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Berry Burst, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Happy Hibiscus dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder, Blender Pen, Wink of Stella, Clear Sequins (Alpine Air kit), Stampin’ Dimensionals
There are lots of colors because I got a little bit fussy. I was trying to replicate our state flower, hibiscus brackenridgei. I used my Blender Pen and a dry brush to create that incredible center, although mine went a little more pink than berry red. But oh, will it be fun to play with all the colors that Mother Nature has used to paint the hibiscus!
Take a moment to see what Cheryl and Crystal have created for November. Remember, the Online Exclusives are available on November 5th, but you can still shop the Online Store.

One of the Maui Stamper team members shared this technique with me, and I was smitten. It’s simple to do and I love the pop of color it gives on top of Crumb Cake card stock! Thanks, Brigid. 💕
Stamps: Spotlight on Nature, Changing Leaves
Color Palette: Basic White, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Berry Burst
Accessories: Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Greetings of the Season dies, Deckle Rectangles dies, Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, White Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy and Tray, Heat Tool, White Craft Ink, Stampin’ Write Markers, paintbrush, dauber, Linen Thread, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals
There’s a lot going on here, but none of it is hard. I embossed the Spotlight on Nature flower on Crumb Cake card stock with White Craft Ink and White Embossing Powder. To get the color to pop, I used a small brush to paint inside the flowers and leaves with White Craft Ink (I didn’t dilute it). Once that dried completely, I colored on top of the White Craft Ink with Stampin’ Write markers.
I am also quite smitten (it’s an excellent word, try it) with the Greetings of the Season dies. They have a little hole in the die so you can tie on your thread or ribbon. I love how clean that little hole is!!
Do you have our Embossing Kit? I’m telling you, it’s worth it just for the little screwed on stopper at the top. No more broken nails trying to get that stupid plug out! Treat yourself, and shop the Online Store.
Our kits are on sale through the end of October! Save up to 30% on everything from cards to Christmas ornaments.
It’s always a great time to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, but if you join by October 31, 2024 you’ll get an EXTRA $30 in product. You can be any kind of demo you want: make a little money by selling some product, make a little more money by working a little harder, or just enjoy the discount and the perks of being an insider – including early access to new products.
Curious? Message me and we can talk about whether or not this is a good fit for you. I never pressure anyone on this, but I’m a true believer in the benefits!

I’m finally feeling a little bit of Christmas! This Book Treat Box was a lot of fun to cover and embellish. Without “littles” in my house or my neighborhood, Halloween doesn’t get the attention it used to – but I confess that I filled the box with Halloween candy!
Stamps: Greetings of the Season
Color Palette: Basic White, Old Olive, Garden Green
Accessories: Book TreatBox, Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine, Greetings of the Season dies, Layers of Beauty dies, Something Fancy dies, Gold Foil Paper, Season of Green and Gold DSP, Gold Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I placed the sentiment focal point on the top of the box so that it could make a “keeper” for this little tab. The tab has adhesive on it, but you would have to tear the box open to get inside. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on either end of the focal point to leave room for the tab.
Inside the box I layered a little sparkle. If you’re like me, the hardest part of something like this is figuring out which panel is on the inside and which panel is on the outside. I played around with it until I was certain, then made tiny little pencil marks on the panels that I wanted to embellish with DSP.
These adorable boxes are currently out of stock, but they’re expected back in the week of November 4. Keep an eye on the Online Store and get yours before they sell out again!
